Now in it’s 30th years, the Young People’s Fine Arts Festival (YPFAF) is the Arts Council’s opportunity to showcase the artistic talents of students in grades K-12 from all of Moore County’s public, private, charter, and home schools. Chosen by each school, all entries are exhibited at the Arts Council Galleries at Campbell House in March, which is “Art in Schools” Month.

Submissions Open: Monday, February 2, 2026 (at 10am)
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, February 10, 2026 (by 5 pm)
2025 Opening Reception: Friday, March 6, 2026 (5-7pm)
In addition to the exhibit, the high school and middle school students’ entries will be judged. The reception will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 5-7pm at the Arts Council Galleries at Campbell House. The Awards Ceremony will take place at 6pm. All awards will be announced except for Elementary School Honorable Mentions.
