Gifts of Cash

In addition to becoming an Arts Council Member, the simplest and most convenient way of giving to the Arts Council is through cash gifts, which may take many forms or pledges over a period of years. All such gifts qualify for maximum income tax deductions. We stress the importance of unrestricted gifts as contributions without stipulations give the Arts Council the flexibility to serve a culturally diverse community. We welcome gifts of all sizes.

Donate by Check

Gifts of Appreciated Stocks & Bonds

If you wish to make a gift to the Arts Council, it may be more beneficial to give appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds rather than cash because of potential tax savings. See how your generosity can offer the same tax savings as you would receive by making a gift of cash and avoid tax on the capital gains built up in donated assets.

Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)

Donor-Advised Funds, or DAF, provide a flexible and efficient way to support the Arts Council while enjoying immediate tax benefits. This method allows you to manage your charitable giving with ease and make a lasting impact on the arts in our community.

IRA Rollover Gifts

An IRA rollover gift is a smart and tax-efficient way to support the Arts Council. If you are 70½ or older, you can transfer up to $105,000 per year directly from your IRA to us without counting the distribution as taxable income. This type of gift can satisfy your required minimum distribution and reduce your taxable income, all while making a meaningful contribution to the arts.

Gifts In Kind

Gifts in kind are non-monetary donations such as art, jewelry, vehicles, equipment, or services that can greatly support the Arts Council. These contributions allow us to allocate more funds directly to our programs, enhancing the cultural experiences we offer to the community.

Life Income Agreements

Life Income Agreements provide a way for donors to make a significant contribution to the Arts Council while receiving income for life. These agreements offer financial benefits to the donor, such as tax savings and a steady income stream, while also supporting the Arts Council.

Real Estate Gifts

Donating real estate to the Arts Council is a unique way to support our mission. This type of gift can provide substantial tax benefits and relieve the donor of property management responsibilities, all while making a lasting impact on the arts in our community.

Retained Life Estate

A Retained Life Estate allows you to donate your home or farm to the Arts Council while retaining the right to live there for the rest of your life. This option provides significant tax benefits and ensures that your property supports the arts in our community after your lifetime.

Life Insurance

Donating a life insurance policy to the Arts Council is a simple way to make a significant impact. By naming us as a beneficiary, you can provide substantial support for the arts without affecting your current financial situation. This method can also offer tax advantages.

Bequests in
Wills & Trusts

Including the Arts Council in your will or trust is a meaningful way to leave a lasting legacy. Bequests can be a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or particular assets. This ensures that your support for the arts continues for future generations.

Endowments & Scholarships

Learn how to create lasting legacies through endowments and scholarships at the Arts Council. Your contributions can support the arts for generations to come.

Payable & Transfer
on Death Accounts

Discover how Payable on Death (POD) and Transfer on Death (TOD) accounts can simplify your charitable giving. These accounts allow you to designate the Arts Council as a beneficiary, ensuring your support continues seamlessly.

Matching Gifts

Double or even triple your donation to the Arts Council through employer matching gift programs. Find out how you can maximize your contributions with matching gifts.
