High School Judge’s Choice Winner 2024: ‘Self Portrait” by Alyson Stites, Grade 12, Pinecrest High School

The Young People’s Fine Arts Festival (YPFAF) is the Arts Council’s opportunity to showcase the artistic talents of students in grades K-12 from all of Moore County’s public, private, charter, and home schools. Chosen by each school, all entries are exhibited at the Arts Council Galleries at Campbell House in March, which is “Art in Schools” Month.

Entry Deadline:  Friday, February 9, 2024 at 5pm

2024 Opening: Friday March 1, 2024 (5-7p)

In addition to the exhibit, the high school and middle school students’ entries will be judged. The reception will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the Arts Council Galleries at Campbell House. The Awards Ceremony will take place at 6:00pm. All awards will be announced except for Elementary School Honorable Mentions.

  • Exhibition Dates:  March 1 (5pm) – 28 (12pm), 2024
  • Location:  Arts Council Galleries at Campbell House (482 E. Connecticut Ave., So. Pines, NC)
  • Weekday Gallery Hours:  Weekdays, 10am to 5pm
  • Weekend Date & Hours:  Sat., March 16 (2-4p)
