ART IN QUARANTINE

DEADLINE FOR CALL FOR ENTRIES

Today is the last day to reserve space for your entries into our “Art in Quarantine.” Visual artists are invited to enter works created during the COVID-19 quarantine. Exhibit is limited to 75 pieces.  Artists who have participated in Moore Art Share – COVID Edition are invited to exhibit one piece on a complimentary basis, but must follow all other guidelines. Entries are limited to two (2) pieces per artists with a nonrefundable fee of $5 for each submission.  For guidelines or more information, please contact the Arts Council at 910-692-2787

Exhibit Dates:  October 2-30, 2020
Virtual Opening Reception:  Fri., October 2 at 6p via Facebook Live
Gallery Hours:  Weekdays / 9 a to 3p
Weekend Date (Hours):  Sat., October 17 (2-4p)

*The Arts Council & Campbell House Galleries will be closed Monday, October 12, 2020.

NOTICE:  For the safety of you and our staff, the Arts Council will follow the CDC recommendations and NC mandates. These include daily cleanings of high-touch surfaces; all staff & visitors must wear a face mask/covering while in the galleries (masks available @ $1); social distance while moving through the galleries; free hand sanitizer available in lobby; all staff offices closed to the public; and a limit of 36 people (12 per 1,000 square feet) in the galleries. The Arts Council asks everyone to be respectful of these requirements, and though inconvenient, they are in place to protect us all.
