The Winter Blues Juried Art Exhibit

The Arts Council of Moore County invited 2D & 3D artists, ages 16+, to enter its “The Winter Blues” juried exhibition by submitting their best interpretation of the “Winter Blues” theme. This could include scenes of winter landscapes, life influenced by the colors of winter, abstracts with colors and lines associated with winter, etc. The results were 96 pieces of art by 65 artists from all over North Carolina. Don’t miss this unique exhibit.

Thank you to all the artists who submitted artwork for our Winter Blues Juried Show.  Due to the OVERWHELMING amount of submissions, we were not able to accept everyone. The Arts Council Visual Arts Committee accepted the pieces below.  The committee’s criteria when accepting artwork comprised of: Use of the Winter Theme, Creativity, Technical Skill, Content, & Composition.
