NOTE: This grant is for individual artists that reside in Anson, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Stanly, & Union counties.
Understanding the important contributions that artists make to the vitality, unity and resilience of our state’s communities, the NC Arts Council has tapped the Arts Council of Moore County to be the lead arts council to administer the new Artist Support Grant (ASG). ASG provides direct support to individual artists by funding professional and artistic development for emerging and established artists to create new work, improve their business operations, or bring their work to new audiences. Eligible artists must be individual artists (or small, unincorporated group of collaborating artists), not enrolled in a degree or certificate program, at least 18 year old, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien, and reside (for at least 1 year) in Anson, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Stanly, or Union counties.
