LOCATION: Studio 275 at 275A NE Broad St., So. Pines (Above Eye Candy Gallery)
SESSION LEADER:
Frank Pierce

Have you ever needed a good photo of your artwork for a gallery, grant application, website, or newspaper article? Wish you could take better photographs of your own work? Well, this session is just for you. Learn about lighting techniques, camera angles, backgrounds, camera settings, recommended equipment for best results, and much more from professional photographer, artist, and gallery owner, Frank Pierce. Bring a piece of your artwork (unvarnished for 2D pieces) to be imaged along with an SD card to take the image home.

Session Leader: Frank Pierce has spent most of his life as a fine artist, illustrator, freelance photographer, & graphic designer. He had his first art show at the age of nine and sold his first oil painting at 16. He was an illustrator during his stint in the Air Force, while also learning studio light and darkroom techniques from the base photographer. His photography experience includes product photography, commercial ad photography, & artwork imaging for reproduction. Frank owns Eye Candy Gallery & Framing in downtown Southern Pines. His one constant joy in life is art, and it pleases him immensely to pass on that joy by teaching others.
