Anthony “Ant” Brosilow is originally from San Pedro in Los Angeles, California and has had a passion for photography and graphic design since the age of 10. Anthony graduated from the Defense Information School excelling in both basic still photography and intermediate photojournalism. He is an artist who utilizes digital SLR cameras to share stories that evoke emotion, build confidence, and share identities.
Anthony also has experience in sharing knowledge of design and photography to his peers through his time and service in the U.S. Marine Corps as a combat photographer. Since before his military departure, he daydreamed of being a second-grade teacher. It is important to him that children have an outlet to express their identities. Anthony is looking forward to creating a safe space for students with ArtistYear as an ArtistYear AmeriCorps Resident Teaching Artist in the Sandhills of North Carolina!
