Heart ‘n Soul of Jazz is ACMC’s glitziest event and is presented every Valentine’s Day weekend at Pinehurst Resort.  Since 1986, the world’s finest jazz artists have come to Pinehurst for one spectacular jazz event. Past performers have included Freddy Cole, Marian McPartland, Diane Schuur, Ellis Marsalis, Nicholas Payton, Toots Thielemans, Milt Jackson, Karrin Allyson, Herbie Mann, John Pizzarelli, Tierney Sutton, and Shirley Horn.

Guitarist and harmonica player Pat Bergeson has written, toured and recorded with many of his musical heroes, including Chet Atkins, Lyle Lovett, Bill Evans, Bill Frisell, and many others. Joining Pat on stage will be Annie Sellick whose voice has been compared to having Ella’s playfulness, Carmen’s attitude, Betty’s instincts, and Anita’s flair.
