About

Diana Turner-Forte is a Teaching Artist in Dance who has devoted her artistic endeavors toward a process focused on uniting body, mind and spirit. She danced professionally in Canada, Mexico and throughout the United States and served on the faculties of Baltimore School for the Arts, BalletMet Columbus Dance Academy, Virginia School of the Arts, Antioch College (Adjunct Faculty), Pontifical College Josephinum (Artist/Lecturer). She has served as A+ Fellow for the Kenan Institute and Artist-educator for the North Carolina Dance Theater. Ms. Turner-Forte has served on national advisory committees and panels in the area of dance and on the Dance Panel for the NC Arts Council. She is the recipient of a couple of Regional Artist Grans and awards of excellence from Pinestraw Magazine (Piney Award) and Monarch Creative Arts and Creative Arts (Creative Arts Award) where she is currently in residence. She holds a BA and MA and several certifications in somatic and the healing arts.
